Everyone always wants to know how we get the frames so clean. I can tell you we do not spend much time on it at all. Maybe 45 seconds a side... The secret- Brillo pads! They were designed to clean aluminum pots and pads, so why not an aluminum frame.
Brillo pads are cheap, work great and get that black stuff off your frame from your boots. They also have some kind of polish in the soap, Because they will leave your frame a little shinny.
While washing your bike, Take a Brillo pad, dip it in water and scrub the frame. It only takes a few seconds and the frame is clean! Makes sure you rinse it off or the soap will dry.
NOTE- We only use Name brand "Brillo" pads, we tried some others and they did not work well.
